In mid 2016, Izzy started suffering from sezuires and other neurological issues. After two CT scans, she was diagnosed with meningioencephalitis, a condition where inflammation of the membranes of the brain and the adjoining cerebral tissue occur. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows optimal visualisation of the brain and spinal cord and is invaluable in assessing patients that present with neurological disease.
